On the 6th December 2007 ERT announced that it had granted a UK production licence to 2K Manufacturing Limited (2K) for the manufacture of eco-sheet in the UK. 2K is the preferred manufacturer for the board. 2K has established strong links with distributors and end users in the construction industry.  2K says it has an aggressive plan for several production plants in the United Kingdom and also mainland Europe. 

On 5th January 2010 ERT announced that it had granted a global production licence to 2K Manufacturing Limited (2K) for the manufacture of eco-sheet...........This follows an assessment of their business model whereby 2k now wants to take full advantage of the worldwide value of the 'Ecosheet' brand. 2k will pay ERT a total of £2 million in instalments over the next three years by way of licence fees with credit being given for the sums already paid (£320,000) for licences already granted..........Omer Kutluoglu, CEO of 2k, said - 'It has become increasingly apparent that brand awareness will be a major factor in our development which has led us (with the help of our partners) to the decision that we must accelerate our international roll-out.
